The Department of Civil Engineering at AUD prepares students for careers in structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, environmental, transportation, or construction engineering. Our graduates take on responsibilities as project managers and design engineers. They participate in the construction of high-rise buildings, roads and bridges, port facilities, water treatment plants, and real estate development projects. As part of their field experience prior to graduation, our students work on exciting engineering projects such as the Palm Islands, Downtown Burj Dubai, and Dubai International Financial Center.

The Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering offers two undergraduate degrees that prepare students for careers in hardware design, software engineering, communication engineering, power systems, and energy engineering. Over the past few years, our students have been at the forefront of national and regional activities, and have won numerous IEEE awards. Our alumni have gone on to continue their graduate studies at Cornell, Stanford, UCSD, McGill, UC Irvine, Michigan, and NUS.

The Mechanical Engineering Program at AUD prepares students for careers in mechatronics, robotics, energy systems, automative and aerospace engineering. The program is designed to enable graduates to take on responsibilities as project managers and design engineers. Our industry partners range from the oil and gas sector to biomechanical and electronic materials manufacturers.
